Feminist media and new media studies, race and racial formation studies, transnational feminism, postcolonial feminism, women and diaspora, women’s body image and beauty culture, affect and cultural studies of emotion, gender and globalization, gender and migration, gender and consumption, intersectionality of gender, spirituality, and sexuality, elderly care, Asian studies, Asian-American studies, and Indonesian studies.
